The following file shows how funds will be appropriated under the new LWCF re-authorization act, P.L. 116-9. Basically, there are three changes. 1. Permanently authorizes LWCF. 2. Provides states and territories with a 40% share of total LWCF which now includes in it’s total for calculating the 40%, annual distribution from GOMESA. 3. And makes Territories and DC, equal partners in the distribution formula. ( in the past, they have together been considered and calculated as one state ).
