In this Fed. Rec. Report Sec. Jewell and others push for a straight renewal of the LWCF by the end of Sept. NASORLO takes exception to this, because there is no guarantee of fairness or equity for the State Assistance Program.. With a straight reauthorization, the level of state grants is likely to be far less than what is needed to operate an effective program and meet state, urban and local park and open space needs.. fyi.. ed. comments.
