MSNBC report below describes abuses that lack of funds to monitor and lack of federal oversight of the LWCF has led to the squandering of the resources supposedly protected by the LWCF act. It cites why the fund was established to help sustain and improve the health and vitality of our citizens by providing safe, accessible outdoor facilities close to home..
