S 500 to be introduced today ( 3-4-20 ) Full and Dedicated Funding for LWCF !!

Last night we heard that the overall support in the Senate and the momentum from the last few weeks has paved the way for a new stand-alone package that will include full funding for LWCF and Restore America’s Parks Act (ROPA – S.500). The new joint bill will be cosponsored and introduced TODAY by Sens. Gardner and Manchin and rolled out at a press conference this afternoon.

Due to support from President Trump and others, there will be a joint LWCF Full/Dedicated Funding Bill and Restore Our Parks Act (National Park Funding) introduced today at noon.  It is hoped the packaged bill will be able to ramp up cosponsors quickly and will see potential floor action sometime this year.  If you have connections with Senators or their offices, it would be helpful to connect with them and ask them to cosponsor the packaged bill.
